Results are not guaranteed to be accurate
StoryCheck reports are provided for personal, informational purposes only. Findings are presented as possible matches with confidence scores, not confirmed facts. The information may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or associated with the wrong person, and StoryCheck does not independently verify it. You should independently confirm any information before relying on it.
Not a consumer reporting agency
StoryCheck is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq., and the information we provide is not a consumer report. You may not use StoryCheck for any purpose regulated by the FCRA, including:
- Employment screening or evaluating a person for a job.
- Tenant or housing screening.
- Credit or loan eligibility decisions.
- Insurance underwriting or eligibility.
- Any other purpose that requires FCRA compliance.
Sources of data
Report data is compiled from user-provided inputs, publicly available web pages, public records, partner data, and licensed third-party providers. Results come from these sources, may be incomplete or outdated, and are not provided in real time. StoryCheck does not create the underlying data and does not guarantee identity ownership.
