How to cancel your StoryCheck subscription
It takes under a minute, entirely online. No phone call, no retention questions. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.

Log in to your account
Go to storycheck.app/login and sign in with the email you used when you signed up.

Open your Profile
Tap the menu in the top right corner and choose Profile.

Open the Credits tab
Inside your Profile, switch to the Credits tab.

Tap Cancel subscription
Scroll to the bottom and tap Cancel subscription, then confirm. You will not be asked to call anyone. Your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period.

Seeing a StoryCheck charge you do not recognize?
A StoryCheck charge means an account using your card started a $1 trial or renewed at $29.99 per month. If that was not you, or you forgot the trial converts, contact support with the last 4 digits of the card. We will find the account, cancel it, and resolve the charge, usually within 24 hours. That is faster than a bank dispute.

How do I cancel my StoryCheck subscription?
Log in at storycheck.app, open the menu in the top right and tap Profile, open the Credits tab, then tap Cancel subscription at the bottom. It takes under a minute, there is no phone call, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
Will I be charged after I cancel?
No. Cancelling stops all future charges. If you cancel during the $1 trial, you pay nothing beyond the $1 and keep the trial until it ends. If you cancel a monthly plan, it stays active until the end of the current billing period and then stops.
I see a StoryCheck charge I do not recognize. What do I do?
Contact support at storycheck.app/support and include the last 4 digits of the charged card. We will locate the account, cancel the subscription, and resolve the charge. This is faster than a bank dispute and we answer within 24 hours.
Can I get a refund from StoryCheck?
Reach out through storycheck.app/support and explain what happened. We review refund requests case by case and respond within 24 hours.
