Searching an Irish number for free

Not every route costs money, and not every free route actually finds anything. The practical divide is between a business number, which is nearly always published somewhere on purpose, and a private 087, which never is.

Do them in that order. On a business number you will be finished at step one, and on an unfamiliar international code the dialling code alone settles it: do not ring back.

Common questions

Is there a free Irish reverse phone directory?

Not for mobiles. Listed landlines can be found in open directories, but Irish 08x mobile numbers are not published as a matter of course.
